As hard as it gets to accept it, the Chinese New Year celebration is over and it is time to start the routine all over again. Many of you might have been out of Hong Kong, done different fun activities and discovered new places during the holidays. The good news is that now that you are back, this overcrowded, yet amazing city has a full agenda of things you can do.
Hong Kong Arts Festival
This year’s Hong Kong Arts Festival starts on February 23rd until March 24th, so if you enjoy music, theatre, and dance, this is the place for you.
Tickets are available on the official page of the festival.
Pixar 30 Years of Animation
“I suffer from short-term memory loss. It runs in my family. At least I think it does… Hm. Where are they?” If Dory from Finding Nemo comes to your mind after reading this phrase and you can’t help but get a little emotional, then you probably are a Pixar fan.
If this is the case, you should not miss the opportunity to visit the Pixar exhibition in the Hong Kong Heritage Museum (1 Man Lam Rd. Sha Tin. Hong Kong). The theme of the exposition is friendship and family. Inside you will be able to find artwork created on traditional and digital media, sculptures, paintings, storyboards, and more that are created by the artists at Pixar Animation Studios.
The standard ticket is $20. You can find more information about prices and promotions in the Hong Kong Heritage Museum website.
Ocean Park Drink’N Music Fest
Live music, crafted beer, and amazing food will all be put together from March 10th to April 2nd in Ocean Park’s Drink’N Music Fest. The festival will open from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm every day. To purchase the tickets, go to Ocean Park Official website.
Art Basel Hong Kong
You do not need to be an art expert to attend the city’s most important art fair. You must go if you want to be amazed by the amount of creativity and passion that can be found in just one place. The event will start on March 29 and it will be the sixth time that it takes place in the Hong Kong Convention Centre.
What will you find inside? According to the official web page, there will be contemporary artworks from 249 leading international galleries.
Taste of Hong Kong 2018
For four days straight, Hong Kong will have its third edition of Taste, a festival (more like a dream) for the people who love good food, drinks and entertainment.
You are just in time to buy your tickets! The festival will be in Central harbourfront and starts at 12 a.m. from March 22nd to the 25th.
